No Swelling - Pop Outta Place | Arthritis Information

When you have little to no swelling, do your joints feel like they come out of joint more?

Mine do. Like I twist my knee more. For example: Today I was walking tot he couch at the in-laws and my foot "hung" the carpet and my knee "twisted" and popped out of joint and popped back in... or so it felt and how it sounded.

my wrists they tend to feel like they pop outta joint and then back in and it is a HORRIBLE sharp pain when it pops back in.

I do not seem to have that much joints popping in and outta place when I am swelled, as much as I do when I am not swelled. I think I like being swelled

Anyone else experience this?

Yes, mine do that all the time. I do not often have swelling.

Yeah Joonie, I know *exactly* what you're talking about. I really do. And it feels more "funny" than it does hurt. Usually anyway. Sometimes it hurts pretty good though. But I'm like that 24/7 without swelling. Then, when I'm swollen, nothing wants to move. It's like I'm a statue. Sound familiar? YES! I'm so sorry to hear this happens to you but very happy to hear it happens to someone else other than myself.  I thought I was crazy.  My main ones are my hips (right mainly) and my knees.  Its awful!I look like the pillsbury dough boy all the time but my hips, knees and feet still pop a lot.  My fingers don't move but once in a while my wrist will pop and it will bring me to my knees it hurts so bad but usually the other popping doesn't hurt too much, probably because of the swelling!

Well... now I do not fell like a FREAK, like I normally do with my other problems

Thanks for the replies everyone.
