INVITED TO MY PITY PARTY | Arthritis Information

Welcome to my pity partyHI Lisa, well, what a rotten day.  I really feel for you.  I was feeling sorry for myself until I read yours!  I think you should get the ambulance, the system is there to be used, use it.  You can't take too many chances, if you have a terrible infection and are on Humira, you will probably have to stop the Humira for a while, go and get yourself checked and make sure you tell your Rheumy and the nurse what happened when you called at the office.  Best of luck, Janie, I will say a prayer for you.  Kind hugs. Lisa, so sorry you are still having probs, and really wishing that things will come right for you again very soon.  You are a shining star.

And why oh why son these things always happen near the weekends??? Hi Janie, sorry you too are feeling down. I am waiting on my G.P. He is going to do something that he normally doesnt do and that is make a house call. I hate calling ambulances as i did that before for terrible pain in my jaw, chest and back, when i got to the hospital they hooked me up to the heart machines and it showed nothing, it turned out to be severe acid reflux......I have stopped the Humira as I have an appointment coming up at a pain centre in London and they have taken me off all meds apart from antibiotics fro the infection. I just wanted to be on the safe side with the chest pain and fever.Take care and I hope you feel better soonI hope you are feeling better soon. I will sure come to your non pity party as soon as I am invited. I hope it's real soon. Bummer, the party finished before I got here.

Oh my Lisa...reading your post even made me angry.

Peace & Love...Neasy

Never same day appointments for Rheumatologist....maybe 6 months later appointments. I am seeing him in 2 weeks though so its better than never. My Lovely G.P. called, he is certain that my chest pain is coughing strain but the infection has given me a fever, nothing that a few paracetemol  wont fix. I am going at 6.30 to my G.P.s office, they have a ECG machine and his nurse will do a read out for me and take some bloods, i feel better now that its being looked into, even if it is only a strain. Thanks for all the good wishesAt least your GP is willing to take a look, these doctors really tick me off sometimes!!!  I hope you feel better real soon.

Good for your GP.  Usually when you present to the emergency room with chest pain you're taken in right away, hooked up to an EKG, vitals and history taken.  You may not be seen right away but at least they'll do an EKG to rule out a cardiac event.  They really don't want you to have a heart attack in the waiting room. If your RD couldn't have seen you then he/she should have referred you to the ER, placed a call to the ER and advised them that you would be coming in with chest pain.  I don't understand and I think you got treated poorly.  At least your GP took you seriously and I hope that it's just from coughing.  You may need a stronger antibio.  also.  Bronchitis can wipe you out and you're going to have to rest and drink lots of liquids.  Keep us posted, we worry about you.  Lindy

So sorry you are feeling so badly.  Hope the GP can take care of it.  Please let us know what he says, ok?

Sorry, hurting too badly to type much.

(((((hugs)))))  I loves yas Lisa..please get better soon!!!!  oh sweetie, I hope you are feeling better soon, please take care!

If this is a party, where's the cake?

*nudge nudge* I'm kidding.

Sorry you feel so icky!!! :( So this chest thing...I mean...are they giving you anything to breathe easier? Not that it compares, but I had pneumonia and bronchitis one year at the same time - ACK! How horrible!! I semi-feel your pain!! GET WELL SOON!

Or I'll smash cake in your face! Hah!

I've arrived and I've got hubby dragging the keg-o-beer in right behind me

Sorry for the recent events of those damn dirty ass dr/nurses being hypocrites! But glad your GP is going to see you soon...

In the mean time let's have a few cup-o-beers.
