MY DR. CAN'T DECIDE WHAT I HAVE. MY RA FACTOR KEEPS GOING UP BUT HE SAYS THAT DOESN'T MEAN MUCH. aLL i HAVE FOR PAIN IS TYLENOL., WHICH DOESN'T HELP

That's appalling. Please ask your Doctor to refer you to a rheumatologist ASAP. Frankly, I'm surprised your Dr. hasn't sent you to one already. Good luck. ACTUALLY, I WENT TO THE RD LAST WEEK. SHE SAID IT COULD BE MONTHS BEFORE I KNOW FOR SURE. WHAT???!!! Why months before you know??? So it's not RA?? What do they think it is? And why are you only taking Tylenol?  Where is your pain? (Sorry if you've already posted this...I'm not on here a whole lot)Kkar, You deserve answers, and treatment. This is your life and your health.
Ask this doctor how she would like it if prescribed tylenol (which is hell on
the liver) for severe pain. If this doctor cannot find you help, now, find a
new doctor. You really need to be seen by a rheumatologist that does not
wait months to treat you. It does not take long for permanent damage to
occur with this disease. Please call and insist on treatment right away. Please post more info.  What labs have you had besides RA factor.  What exactly did the RD say?  Why months?  What symptoms are you having?  Welcome to the forum.  Lindy

Watch the Tylenol - my hubbys boss lost both kidneys from over medicating.  Make waves for better pain meds!

Ugh...what happens when you lose both kidneys? Do you have to have a kidney transplant?

He's on the list.

I think Aleve was doing the same thing to me when I first got sick.  I had 3 elevated liver function tests in a row and when I read the bottle found I was really over the 'safe' amount.

This is why I now say 'question everything'.  It was OTC.  Who knew this could happen.
