Just got back from an eight day trip to Arizona and Utah and envy those of you that live in the Phoenix, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Bryce Canyon, and Flagstaff areas and everywhere in between. Had such a great time and felt great. No joint pain and actually did so much walking. It was so weird to walk out at night in Phoenix after a movie and it was almost 100 degrees!  I am used to humidity and the dry air was fab! I am ready to retire there.

Warning to all  - my husband left my meds in the rental car after we got to the hotel and I remembered them that evening. Needless to say they were all ruined ( the pharmacist siad they shouldn't be in over 86 degree temp - and it got to 111 that afternoon). I landed up throwing away all my meds and the first night was used refilling and taking down doctor's numbers to get the okay for new ones.

Less, am glad you liked the Southwest.  I live in Arizona and I'd trade it right now for Oregon or Washington.  It was 111 degrees today and just too hot to do anything outside.  We garden at night.  Lindy
