Hi Kel,

I think any time you change meds, your body can have some kind of reaction to the varied dosage or to the different/new med.  Let your doctor know that you are experiencing this.

A couple months ago I had a bad reaction to the Remicade that I have been on for a year now.  Every joint ached and throbbed.  Even ones not normally troublesome.  After about 10 days all quieted down.  My next infusion went well with none of this problem at all.  My doctor said to let him know when I have unexpected reactions to the infusion/med.

Give a call and put your mind at ease.

Good luck!

It sounds strange that 'taking meds' can increase your discomfort, but yes. I've felt 'worse' after taking mtx! , who knows? Lynda

I have had flares after adjusting my dose of mtx and when i switched from oral to injectable.  I think it does take the body time to adjust to new neds or new dosages.

Call your doc just to be on the safe side.
