I noticed your signature. Does Mary Jane still refer to what I remember it did from my college days? Curious

PS it is legal in canada for people with RA and crohns. lol. nice!

SarahP39269.3641087963It is also legal in AK, CA, CO, HI, ME, MT, NV, NM, OR, RI, VT, and WA. but I am not sure what DX people have to have to get it.  In Oregon physician assisted suicide is also legal.  Not that those 2 go together. Legal or not, if it helps, it helps!

I live in Florida. I have RA and ulcerative colitis (similar to crohn's). Go figure. Do the doctor's write a prescription for this? Provide it to you? How does that work? Where do you buy it?

Not sure how it works in the states, but here you fill out a form for the government and they give you a card and you can either buy off a "legal" dealer, or you can apply to grow your own and they give you seeds and kit to grow. You can even have someone else apply to grow it for you. Yes, a physician can write a prescription for it.  I think it has to be medical grade (whatever that means) to be used.  I don't think it is legal in Florida, but I would check it out if that is the case.

Of course, all I can think of is if you are on pred and marijuana, how about the munchies then?

Mary -

Oh, ROFL!  I wasn't afraid of the Pred from the side effects (learned about that here) but from the gut fat and moon face.

Oh, Vanity thy name is Pip!

Well, I live in BC so I don't bother with all that legal stuff. It's really a non-
issue. I usually just have a couple tokes at night. I guess I get a bit of the
munchies but if you don't start eating it's not a problem. I know it's good for
RA and I've read the studies, but since I smoked PreRA I've never had RA
without it so to be honest I have no non-MJed RA state to compare it to,
haha. Also, if I have an mtx hangover it's the prescription for my affliction!
