I can just imagine how terifying that was.
Please, I know you are having some real $$ troubles, go to someone like the red cross or credit counselors or whatever so you don't get foreclosed. We very nearly lost our house twice, and its a horrible feeling. Let them help you find a way to manage this. The stress alone can have a terrible impact on your health.
With the bankrupcy laws changing you may even want to take a look at that option (at least you'll keep your house) before the new law goes into effect. People don't realize that most personal bk is the result of medical costs.
