My Rheumy increased my norco to 3x/day and my PCP increased my ativan to 3 times a day as well. I am so sleepy. Will this go away after I get used to it? I'm afraid to leave the house, and definitely will not drive. It is very much helping my neck pain and spasming back. The break from pain has been incredible so I would hate to stop it...Anyone have experience with this?
I don't have experience specifically with those meds, but with plenty of others. How much were you on before the increase? How long have you been on the increased dose? Hopefully the dr just stepped you up a little, and didn't leap to a bigger dose.
Do you have the ability to stay home for a few days (no driving I agree!), napping if you have to, and see if it works itself out? Make sure you stay hydrated so you don't feel even more tired.
Hmmm....side effects from both those meds is drowsiness. Side effects normally (and of course we do anything normally lol) go away on their own within 2 weeks. How long has it been since you have increased your dosages? Is it possible to back down to 2x a day??
