OT - The new hair.... | Arthritis Information

Alrighty.............I realize this wasn't the best spot to take a picture....because my hair blends into the bookcase. Hah! Oh well. I kept all that background in the photo, so you all can see how crazy we are with our toys. See the little section of my Alice stuff? It's just pilled up because I've got SO much I have no where to put it!! VERY CUTE! I love it.Ditto. It's REALLY cute!Yep...looks great. Plus I see you love crap. So do I.Hahaha in that picture alone there's 50% of my Alice collection, Brian from Family Guy dressed as a banana, A 12inch Batman figure, 2 of my fairies, Bob from Reboot (an old cartoon), 2 Batmobiles, part of our DVD collection, a Resident Evil chainsaw PS2 controller, and a mini Optimus Prime. Which you really can't see unless you know its there. But I know it's there. Hahaha Thanks for the compliments!! I've been floating on cloud 100 today!! Haha I feel GREAT with the new look!!! Katie - your hair looks beautiful - and so do you!! And hold on to your toys = my daughter still has her special things on display from when she was a child, and she's now 35!! Every now I then I find something else of hers in the depths of my cupboards, and she's usually always really pleased to get them.

Unless it's a photo of her in her GREEN school uniform, - she hates green!! Ever since that particular uniform!!

Just a couple of weeks ago I found an old boy doll that had belonged to my son. I washed him and put him in the toybox for my grandsons. When my son saw it, he said "Yay - my Nasruden man".

And I still have my "walkie talkie doll" - I'm 62!!! The child remains within us all!!

I have TONS of Alice stuff. In that pic alone there is: A pop up book, a post card, a water globe, a nutcracker, a teapot, a teapot play house, a McDonalds Alice toy, a Brass key Alice doll, a Cheshire plush, and one of the American McGee Alice dolls from the computer game. Ummm yes.......it's a tattoo........*grins* I have three, and that's my "naughty" one. Haha it's a naked fairy! She's an earth fairy though, thats why she's not clothed. It's natural. :) I LOVE her. I have another dragon/seahorse/creature on my lower back, and a big lizard down the back of my neck. :)

Very cute haircut! I have been considering a short cut. Mine is falling out like mad - not in clumps, fortunately but has gotten very thin. I have been wondering if a shorter haircut will make it look better or worse. Yours looks great.

Slightly strange thought process here:

Does anyone else ever find it..........odd, I guess, that other people on the board here think about them, OFF the board? I mean, I talk about you all, believe me. You can ask Christine, she knows tons of your names. LoL But when people say they think of me, I dunno. Sometimes I don't believe them, or I imagine a fleeting thought, or a bad one. It just doesn't seem possible that someone on a board would consider me at any point outside of this board. I guess I don't feel like I have that big of an impact? Not that it's a HUGE one or anything, I know that it doesn't take a whole lot for someone to cross your mind. I have elementary school friends that cross my mind for random reasons. Nothing they did, per sey, just ya know. It was there. But its a weird concept to think of when *I'M* involved. LoL

I apologize for the rambling.......I haven't taken a Flexeril in WEEKS and I've needed one sooo badly for my STUPID neck/shoulder. Now I took one cause I finally got my script, and here I sit all doped up and thinking WAY too into things. Katie, this is the first time I've seen you. You are an absolute doll. And your
hair looks so good. Mine is a dark like yours and I would love it if I could
wear my hair that short. It looks so good on you.

Many of the people on the board feel like good friends. After all, we probably know more about each other than a lot of our acquaintances in "real world".

You know how, when you know someone that collects something special, when you see something in their catagory, they just pop into your mind? (Boy, was that ever a rambling sentence)

I collect all things to do with hummingbirds. In Native American lore, hummingbirds are a good thing. Like eagles. I have a very large curio cabinet full of hummingbirds. Also dolphins and humpback whales, but mostly my little hummies.

Don't be surprised people think about you. You are a delightful person.

I agree with Nini, a lot of us on here know so much personal stuff about each other we would be strange if we didnt think about each other at times.

A lot of everyday things crop up that remind me of different people on here.

Whenever I go into Asda ( Walmart) and i get a scooter to shop with I think of Joonie,

When I watch the black Labrador playing next door i think of Liz's dog

I think of Katie everytime I go to my cousins as her little girl has a huge cheshire cat toy on her bed and an Alice pyjama case.

Eds Diner in our local shopping centre reminds me of Hillhoney( Pics of her kitchen)

and so many more............. it just takes one thing

Katie, you look young, healthy, and very alive. I know I sound like one of the people that we all hate but it's true. Take it as a compliment. There are days that I look great and then days that I look like a turd (sorry Cathy, stole your word)

Yes, I think of a lot of you through out the day and like Lisa it's usually associated with something that I've done, seen or heard. An ambulance passed us this morning and for some reason Liz popped into my mind and I thought about how stressful her job was. I've thought of Joonie when I've been at Walmart. I bet we all have. Sorry Joonie, in our feeble minds you'll be associated always with WalMart. The association list goes on and on. I think of Linda when I'm driving hubby around the golf course. This is all good. Just so I don't start dreaming about you all. Lindy

Hahahaha I've had dreams about Liz and Crunchy. LOL But I'm crazy like that. :) I do think about you call, just like that too! Every ferrett I see reminds me of Pin!!! Hahaha and sooo much other stuff. It just still amazes me that someone would think of me. LOL

And yes, whenever I see the benches up front in wally world, I think of Joonie.

Now... only if wally world would stop moving the benches around and old people would stop hogging them... then I will be in good shape
