i'm still to be diagnosed but it all points to RA. But just wondering, do you feel really poorly with it? I'm feeling as sick as a dog and really exhausted.

Yep. Flu like symptoms and fatigue! Story of my life lately lol.Yep, me too...just an overall feeling of "ick".

Yep, I often describe it like a bad flu, hot, achy, tired, crabby. Yep! I have constant fatigue.Hi, I have a hard time remembering what I felt like without it. Now, it seems I feel bad leading up to my mtx, then feel tired and grumpy the next day and several after taking it. I feel high as a kite on Prednisone (15mgs) right now, but not sleeping (?), so that's getting to me and I'm starting to feel tired. I guess I never feel 'normal' anymore. I don't know if I would call it 'sick' , like the flu, but not well , either. LyndaI have that completely out of sorts, I'm catching something crappy feeling a good deal of the time.I always feel tired,try and go to bed early usually 7-7.30 pm and then back up about 4-5am,our house is silent as my family sleep.I used to feel ill w/RA....and as my infusion date approaches (for Remicade) I generally get more stiffness and pain as well as run a low-grade fever. Then my Energizer-Bunny (good way to put that...!) kicks back in and I am good to go.
Before getting a handle on the RA, all I wanted to do was sleep. I think the crushing fatigue is one of the worst aspects of this disease. Now I hardly ever take a nap. I do make sure I get about 8 hours of sleep every night and it seems to be more than enough.
Yup. Lots of times I think I'm getting sick. "Aw crap, my ears hurt.....I have that sick feeling in my throat.....I feel the start of a fever" etc etc. And the next day, I'll just be really puffy and in pain. And all the "I'm gonna get sick" symptoms have mostly gone away. It sucks!
Ditto on the flu-like symptoms, extreme fatique, weakness, and general malaise...all part of the RA package deal.
Oh yeah, and you can factor depression in also.
