I actually woke up screaming, I thought I dislocated my hip
I have a feeling my messy house is gonna stay that way today, & with 4 kids running around, should be interesting!
I'm due to see rheumy next week, but all he's gonna say is why haven't I stated the embrel yet, but oo for a co-pay is a big chunk of change with 4 kids, bills & no garentees, nothing else has worked!
I'm tired of this. oh well done with rant, everyone else try to have a pain free day! Cheryl
Cheryl,
Have you looked into assitance for the Enbrel? You can print the application right off the internet, fill it out and have your doctor sign it. They will help off set the copay or perhaps even give it to you at no cost for up to a year. Are you on any other medications? If you don't have prednisone at home can your RD call some in to get you through this horrible flare?

That's just a few sites with information on assistance. Take a look and get the help you need for the Enbrel.
Peace & Love...Neasy
Golly Ned, what is it with hips and knees lately? I woke up yesterday like that daiharleygirl, and today wasn't much better! Sorry you're having it rough too, mine felt better in the late afternoon hope yours does sweetie.
Oh sweetie, that sounds very painful! I definitely would not worry about the house at all and Neasy gave you some good info on help for the costs of your meds. I hope you feel better soon! Hi, I've had those 'hot, knife' feelings but in my left arm and the bottom of my foot. Toooo painful. Sorry, LyndaI mentioned this before to other people. I use the Healthwell FoundationThanks so much for the empathy, I know you all know how it is, Im on mtx 25mg awk, prednisone 5mg usually, took 15 today, no help yet. My youngest is 3 so she like to keep me busy but thank goodness my 10 yr old twins took up the slack today keeping her happy
I just applied for 1 program to help with copay for embrel but they were full at this time. I will definitly check out the 1's you sent Neasy & Becky, thanks amillion!! Cheryl
That level of pain will not immediately be taken care of with Enbrel. Even under best circumstances, Enbrel takes time to work. It's not like you can take a shot and feel much better. And, your doctor knows this. It is possible that if you take a good rest that you can help settle your flare down. If that doesn't do it, then you might want to ask for either something that will help more with the inflammation like Mobic or Celebrex or even a pred pack.
