I was wondering, How often do you guys have flares? I havnt had one since november last year. Im scared that one might come soon :( Was just wondering if you guys keep track of that stuff. Thanks! I seem to have no pattern! I flare pretty badly for a few weeks every couple
of months. I'm flaring at the moment and it hurts to stand. It hurts to sit. It
hurts to lie down. I'm fed up of it! I had this dream last night where I
couldn't lie on my side because my hip hurt. So I turned over and my other
hip hurt. I'm still not sure if it was a dream or real!

I feel like I'm a hundred years old today!SO sorry you are hurting and my be facing a flare.I sure hope that's not the case.Just take it easy.Maybe it will not happen.

Hope you're worrying over nothing!! I'll pray that's the case.

I never know when to expect a flare, and sometimes I it just drives me nuts!@!!!  memeI try not to think about it but I have one every few months.  My last one lasted waaaaaaaaaaaay too long....5 weeks before things were better.  One thing I have learned...do not forget even  one dose of medicene.  If I miss an evening dose, I pay for it the next day.  Hope you are feeling better soon and NO FLARES!!!!!!!!!

Then I got a flare beginning  Feb, 2004 and it is STILL going. Some days it's not bad at all, other days its unbearable. I have been on Pred, plaquinel,  MTX, Enbrel, and Humira in the past year, and I THINK it is beginning to stabilize, now that the MTX is doubled.

Don't be afraid, instead enjoy the good times you have and take advantage of it.  It sounds like you must be doing something right
Mina  Thanks to all of you for responding. I am currently on Enbrel and occasionally celebrex (when I have some). It seems to be working ok for me, accept for when it starts to wear off, then it really kills my hip. Im thinking about asking my RD to put me on MTX injections. Because perhaps that will help for when the Enbrel wears off every week. I hope everyone will find their right combo of meds soon. *hugs*
