Are you okay? Havent seen you on here for a while.I know you said hubby was off for a week, maybe you have gone on vacation??

Hi Pinnie!!

I am... ok. Have just been "busy", not really

Those new muscle relaxers are really kicking my butt. I only take up to 2 a day (suppose to be taking 4 a day) and they make me not want to wake up once I am asleep.

And when I do not take them, my neck/back/shoulders hurt. It is kinda like a double edge sword. Damned if I do, Damned if I don't.

I hope you are still feeling better.

I noticed that if I do not get much sleep if I take them at night, that I tend to forget more than normal. Like Friday... I did not get but 6 hours sleep, and I was in a total haze the whole day. I could not remember stuff, I even forgot part of my mom's phone number, good thing it was in my cellphone, but then I could not remember where my cellphone was at. Good thing son was home and told me where it was at.

I have been cutting back on taking them since the couple of incidents on Friday. I did take one last night and I did get enough sleep this time, and it did help my neck some. It seems to do better when I take more than 1 a day.

Joonie - maybe you could talk to your RD about prescribing a TENS unit for you, as wearing the stimulator will allow you to take less of the muscle relaxer during the day. Many days I keep mine on throughout the day, and then take my Robaxin at night. There is just NO WAY I can function during the day if I'm gorked out on muscle relaxers. Brisen39280.7417824074

Thanks for the idea!

The other day when I forgot my mom's phone#... it the next day... to me it seemed like a week passed by, I had even forgot what day it was and everything!
