OT fried my keyboard | Arthritis Information

 

I am so angry with myself.  I can,t screw the lids on bottles very well so had an open bottle of water on my desk and I knocked it over and it spilled on my special little keyboard and it won't work now! Sorry about your keyboard Michele. I know once you get used to one you love, you are so protective of it.  Did you dry it out and try it again?  Sometimes a date with the Blow dryer is all it needs.  Oh michele, I am really sorry about your keyboard.Its a nightmare when it comes to bottles and trying to get lids back on. I spilt a whole bottle of Olive Oil all over my kitchen floor yesterday and the dog, It took ages to get the oil up and the floor mopped but the dog has a shiney coat now Oh man what a bummer!  I am the reason we do not have glass topped tables in the house so don't feel too bad about spilling!!  I love glass topped tables and can't have them anymore! 

I spilled coffee with creamer all over mine so the creamer gunked it all up, but water should dry and leave no residue.

I did it before I left last night and it worked ok but when I came in this am, it just won't work.    It seems dry but I will take it home and have hubby hook it up to his computer to make sure.  This big keyboard is killing my hands.  

Yueppers, blow dry. Been there, done that! But, the new ones are really cool and I only paid twenty bucks for mine.

I would blow it dry and the store it UPSIDE down (keys on bottom) to make sure anything in there can thoroughly drain and dry.
