I was feeling better this evening so I thought I would like to go for a short bike ride. My dog Tyler was antsy so I thought it would be a good time to teach him how to run next to the bike. Well, he made me proud. He took to it right away, so much so that I just started cruising, took my eye off him and he ran in front of the bike. I did a complete tumble and crash in the middle of the street
Now I get to find out if the joints that I crashed will join in on the current flare I have been experiencing. I scraped my elbow, knee and butt of course. I will have huge bruises because of my prednisone use. What a day! I am laughing right now, I can be such an accident waiting to happen
Hope you will not be too sore after your biking accident and your scrampes, bumps, and bruises will be healing soon.
Thanks Less. I should have posted this to funny stories because I can't help but laugh at myself sometimes
You could have either posted it there or under the " RA and Exercise" thread. From yoga to bikes, you are keeping busy!
I bought a Yoga tape from TV a year ago and tried it once. I was so sore the next day that I could hardly move. Guess I should try it again. It isn't doing me a lot of good sitting on the shelf.
That is wild that your cat will go for a swim. Especially with the dogs! The only time my cat ever got near water was when he accidently fell in the tub when I was taking a bath.
rOXY...tYLER IS A BEAUTY!! WHAT KIND OF DOG IS HE?? GOT TWO BEAUTIFUL LABS MYSELF, BOTH BOYS AND BROTHERS AND ABOUT 5 MONTHS OLD (Cody and Beaux) ALSO HAVE TWO COCKER SPANIELS, MALE NAMED SEBASTIAN AND SABLE THE GIRL; SHE TOTALLY BLACK AND HAS A BEAUTIFUL COAT. MY ANIMALS KEEP ME SMILING. GOTTA GET MY DAUGHTER HOME SO SHE CAN TEACH MOM HOW TO POST PICTURES ON THE NET!!
A really good yoga tape is Rodney Yee (I think that is his name) morning yoga. It is for beginners and it feels so good. I do it with my hubby sometimes. Now I have to post pic of my yorkie and kitten when we were traveling
I recently adopted an older kitten from the shelter. He is an only "child" right now, and we hope to soon find him a brother or a sister.
Thanks for the advice on the Yoga tape. I will check it out as the one that I have is difficult! It doesn't seem humanly possible to stretch muscles in the way that she does.
If you have time please share the directions on how you used pictures in your posts. Did you scan or use them from a file?
Wow! Roxy is becoming quite the "post the photos" wiz!! Good going Roxy!
Sorry to hear Tyler made you go boom-boom. What we do for our pets and kids...lol. Hope ya do not feel too bad tomorrow.
Oh and Less if you do not have a scanner or digital camera. When you go to get your film developed you can ask to have your pics put on a CD-Rom for a few $'s more which will allow you to transfer them to your computer from the CD-Rom. That is how I get my pics on my computer other then my scanner. Getting them on CD-Rom when developed just saves me time from having to scan the pics individually.
Hey Roxy,
Thanks!! I finally get it!
