I have heard that Embrel causes Lymphoma, then a rheumy said that it does not cause Lymphoma and its a diagnosis that occurs more likely in RA patients. Does anyone know..Relax,I think you are becoming upset over something you have no control over.
TNF inhibitors (Humira, Enbrel, Remicade) have NOT been shown to increase a patients likelyhood of getting lymphoma. However, just having RA DOES increase the risk that you may someday have lymphoma.
Why worry over something you have no control over? You could wake up tomorrow and get hit by a bus too. Please don't stress yourself out. Stress makes auto-immune diseases worse.
