I was looking thru the memberlist and we have so many newbies. Many of them have not posted. I wonder how we can get them to join in on the posting? Any ideas ya'll?

Com'on NEWBIES you know you wanna post!!

We would love to hear your story. Just add it to the "Short" bio thread!

Just a suggestion:  Form a "Sunshine committee" and contact all newbies with a welcoming message.  Urge them to post and assure them that this is a place that knows exactly how it feels to have these stinking diseases.

Good IDEA Islandwoman! Might have to organize that.

Thanks for the Idea!

Am not "newbie" by title, but have only been around for 3 weeks so I guess I am still new....just gabby!!

Molly BeeI was diagnosed with ra about a year ago.  Did the mtx & folic acid, and i'm now on humira every 2 weeks.  Have had 4 injections so far.  I am very surprised at how young most of you are.  I'm 67 and must be the old timer of the bunch.  I take other meds--for high blood pressure and racing heart, but basicly feel pretty good.  I think the humira is helping, but from what i'm reading here, you eventually have to take the shots more often.  I'm a little concerned about side affects.  Enjoy  reading all the comments.  Keep it up!   Nancy from Ga.Hi Nancy...You are not the oldest one here.  Besides, being older just means having a little more knowledge about life.  lol  At least that's what the grandkids tell me.

Take care Nan..

Hi, I'm here just reading. How many posts do I need to go up one level to Groupie?

I believe it is 40 or 45 -- having just made the jump myself.

(I'm actually an oldie -- in more ways than one.  I was at this site before it switched ownership.  Now, I'm bi-situal.

Oh ok! That's excellent...i'm almost a groupie!
