Good Monday (yuk) morning to all
We had several family members with July birthdays a big party and cook out Saturday at my sister's (thank goodness) and had a really fun day. My niece Kennedy turned 4 and she was a little doll and so excited, we call her drama queen, she's soooo dramatic
Went to church yesterday and didn't nod off once so hubby didn't have to poke me
So now here I sit with a kazillion things that need to be done and I really need something to motivate me. Dirt just ain't doin it! Call me lazy, trifleing,(my mom's word), or whatever just help me git that fire lit under my tail!!!Glad to hear you had a nice weekend!
Sorry Moana, no motivation here either. It has rained continually in the UK and i could just curl up on the couch with a good film.
We didnt do much at the weekend, hubby is ripping out our old garden and knocking down things and building things so thats where he has been, my eldest daughter has been at her friends, my youngest was at her friends and my son was at my nephews so I didnt even have the kids here for a change. I caught up some much needed sleep and rest as i have had a horrible infection in my chest and then i had some friends come round to see me which was lovely as they brought chocolate fudge cake with them. Yummy!!
I wouldnt worry about the mess of the house as it will still be there tomorrowMmm, chocolate fudge cake, got any left, I am starving!!!
I had a really good weekend. Saturday my neighbor had a going away party for her daughter who is heading back to AZ after a short visit. I have really great neighbors and it's always a fun time when we get together. Just a barbeque in the backyard and a bonfire later, but the weather and the company were outstanding!!
Sunday I took a road trip with my sis to pick up her daughter from cheer camp. It was held at a small college with a beautiful campus and again the weather was perfect, hot and sunny, no humidity. Just how I LOVE it! I did manage to work up a major bad headache on the way home, that was the only bad thing. I took sime ibuprophen which I know I'm not supposed to, but what else am I gonna do? It really hurt.
And I will also admit that I happily went out and bought Harry Potter and I don't even care how silly that might seem. It's a great story and I've been really excited to read it.
