I had an appointment with my rheumy on Friday and now I am tapering off the predisone. So far so good until yeserday. I had taken a sleeping pill because I have been having trouble sleeping lately. I kept dreaming that my hands, elbows, and toes were hurting. I could actually feel the pain and kept thinking how badly I hurt, but I didn't wake up from the pain. When I did wake up, my joints felt sore and stiff, but nothing too bad. I just can't believe I dreamed that I was in that much pain. That was too weird.
That is weird! I've had dreams like that too though. Perhaps the sleeping med kept you sedated enough that you did not wake up, but your subconscious knew you were in pain? I believe that would happen. I'm sorry you had so much pain! I hope that is has tapered off and you feel better today.
