I take humira weekly. I have been taking it since last September. The last couple of months, I have had a bruise develope at the injection site. 3 times total. Has anyone else had this happen?

Thanks for any info

Ive been taking Humira for almost 2 years and it happens almost everytime.  Ive talked to the dr about it and hes not concerned about it and just says its from the needle. It happens to me once in awhile. Take humira weekly. It is sub q so there could be bruising. Not to worry. That commonly happens with any injection. Are you using the humira quickpens or the regular syringes?  Don't forget with the quick pens that needle is spring loaded.  Also, you are sticking a needle into your body and that can break those small capillaries causing some bruising.  I use the spring loaded pen. Thank you all for the feedback. I just wanted to make sure it was common.I have been taking Humira for about 2 years now. I use the needle.  I have only had a bruise once.  I was on Humira for about 6 months, and I had bruising and swelling with each injection. Like grammaskittles said though, bruising can be common with any type of injection.
