RA and fever | Arthritis Information

Yeah it is me again.  I know fever is common with RA.  I have noticed that I am having frequent low grade fever.  I normally have a temp of less than 98, but lately have temp. every few days of 99 or 100.  Anyone else have fevers?  I am on meds, so I am surprised that I have fevers! Low grade fevers can be a sign of active RA.  How are you doing on your meds?  Do you feel as if they are working?  Hi again Gramma!  We have to stop meeting like this I get low grade fevers as well. Just part of the RA. Hang in there. Mary, I'm told it can also be a side effect of Methotrexate.  I get them too.  Especially in the evening.

Let us know how the fevers are tracking out.  Jeanne had a good point with them possibly being a side effect of the mtx.  It is going to be interesting to see if they occur more when you take the mtx.

One day we will all stop meeting like this and meet on a nice temp comfy tropical island with very nice eye candy cabana men lol.  And mine better look like George Clooney!!!!

Too funny!  I am going to start tracking them and other signs and symptoms.  I will also ask about injectable MTX.  Gramma, I am right with you on that island.  We can have a good book in one hand and a non-alcoholic Mai Tai in the other

I will of course share George.  The husbands do need a day off from being our cabana men lol.  But I get him first lol.

Ya know...it will be interesting to hear what your rheumy has to say about your symptoms and how they tracked out.
