2 Days in a row.... | Arthritis Information

Yesterday MaryBeth wakes me up to tell me that Andrew took his diaper off and was playing with his poopy. Glad it was not messy poopy. I had to give him a bath and then wipe down his playpen with bleach & Lysol.

Then this morning I changed his diaper and gave him a bottle. He usually goes back to sleep after his first bottle in the morning. Well, I laid there listening to him babble for a while then he got fussy sounding and he started crying. So, I went in there to see what he was crying about. I step in a puddle of "water" and then I noticed he had stripped off his diaper AGAIN! He had peed on the floor!

Man...this week has not been my week...for Andrew to keep his diapers on...lol.

I do not remember his sister taking off her diapers. This is really weird and gross to me..lol.

YUCK!!

How old is he again?

Oh; I see...18 months? How long has it been since you wrote that?

Neither of mine ever did that either. Maybe it's time to start potty training? Mine were both a little over 2 when we started. My son caught right on. Never even wet the bed once we started...my daughter however took a lilttle longer. That girl would wet the bed...and her pants in a heart beat.

Maybe Andrews ready? Maybe he doesn't like wearing a dirty or wet diaper and he'd be more anxious than other children to actually do it. It's not unheard of.

I will never forget the day I walked into my bedroom to see my one year old daughter covered in her poop.  She also had wiped it on the bed, dresser, it seemed like it was everywhere.  I just panicked.  I called my mother-in-law and she said it was not unusual for babies to want to play in it ............  YUK

I'm not sure I could handle that. I gagged changing diapers. I would have no doubt thrown up everywhere if I had to clean it up from all over everywhere. YUCK!!

Joonie; you'll be in my prayers my friend.

Lovie- Andrew is 9 months old he will be 10 months on the 15th.

He is a mess, but not as big of a mess as MaryBeth was and still is LOL.

Oh...I'm such a dumb blonde sometimes!! I saw 18 months and just realized that's when you were diagnoised.

Obviously he's too young for potty training.

Hang in there sister!!

LOL.

I had a hard enough time training MaryBeth and she was a girl!!

Andrew is a turkey boy and MaryBeth is a turkey girl.

Oh and hubby just thinks it is HILARIOUS! Just wait until it happens to him...lol.

I have all of this to look forward too! Can't wait!

I think all baby boys are weird like that(and some baby girls too). As soon as my nephew started walking he realized he could easily undo his diaper. So whenever I kept him, and this was often, I had to watch him to see if he was walking around buck naked and check for puddles all over my place.

ENJOY IT...THEY DON'T STAY SMALL LONG...MINE ARE 9 AND 22 NOW!!!!

Every day i get more and more thankful for my little man!!  Billy was an angel in comparison

the first six weeks he fed every hour and a half day and night then i laid him on his front and he slept all night! and continued to do so!  never played with nappy contents, but did get to a point, before a year old, where he discovered how to undo the tabs but that was all he ever did, never took it off was normally sitting down and just undid it and called me!    but i went out and got pampers pull up pants from then on, same as a nappy but solved it!

good luck with potty training! you gonna hate me but i had no trouble with that either!

you did make me laughthough and at the moment tats an achievement, although i'm not sure which i lauged more at, the story or lovie's reaction!!

i have to admit he had reflux though, so threw up everything that went in, projectile style from 2 weeks onwards! normally down cleavage! soooo funny sometimes. waffling as per usual, sorry guys!

Hope you are doing better! Missed your posts!

Yeah, yeah...he done it again Tuesday.

This time the lil' cracker took off his diaper because he was upset with me because I walked off to make him a bottle!! I had just put the diaper on him! He was whinning and fussing at me the whole time I was in the kitchen and I was talking to him telling him I was making him a bottle.

Then I get back to the play pen he was jumping up and down looking all happy and then I get a lil' closer and realize his tally wacker is flapping in the wind!! All I could do was laugh. And put his diaper back on him. Then he was getting fussy again because he saw his bottle.

I mean the kid acts like I do not ever feed him! I can just get thru feeding him 8oz of baby food with oatmeal cereal mixed in and he will still act like he is hungry!! I can give him an 8oz bottle right after he eats his 8ozs of food and he will whine when his bottle is empty. BUT he does decide well mommy is not going to fed me anymore so he finds something to play with.

He has been like this since he was born and the doc never said anything about when I told him. I guess he is just a lil oinker...lol.

Joonie....oh the days of bottles & diapers..seems so far back to me but I do miss those days when they were so unpredictable!  God bless you for hanging in there and trying - I don't think I could have handled a baby feeling like I have recently - God will certainly honor your perseverence.  They grow up so quickly - last night I sat in the recliner watching 8 "teenyboopers" singing karaoke....and cried - they were having soo much fun!  I always get choked up when I see my girls  grow up a little more!  I don't know why it makes me cry........try to see the humor in "mr. whoflungpoo"

All I got to say is "duct tape" and if that fails how about "suspenders". My kids never did that thank goodness. I think it happens a lot more than you might think.

Barb

Whats a "teenybooper"?

Maybe you could try putting on the diaper backwards? It worked for me, but thankfully mine never played in "it", they were just nudists. A few of my friends faced that right of passage though.
Just remember "This too shall pass".

Andrew has now took his diaper off once again!!!!!

DATE: August 13, 2005

He woke up at 8am I feed him a bottle he usually goes back to sleep, BUT NO!! He decides he is going to stay awake so I bring him out to the living room, change his diaper, put him in his playpen, turn on Sing-along-with Tigger. I lay down on the couch and dooze off. About 5 mins later I realized I doozed off. I look at him and he is stand there watching his movie I then notice, once again, a naked butt!!! I pick up his brand spankin' new diaper to put it on him and realize the outside of the diaper is wet!!

He had peed all over his blanket and the toys laying on top of the blanket!!

I am just happy he did not pee all over his playpen. SHEWW!!!

I had thought about the duck tape, but decided I would just keep him in diaper covers and shorts...lol. I would never be able to get his diaper off if it was duck taped!!! LOL He would he sitting in the same diaper until his daddy got home.
