Okay, I'm gonna preface this by saying that I'm a proud mama and you'll have to forgive my boasting, but doggone it I'm excited!
As a lot of you know, my family is very involved in regional theatre in Connecticut, and my children have grown up in theatre. Hubby and I are involved in the behind-the-scenes stuff, youngest son is a lighting designer, and my daughter, son and future son-in-law are all actors.
My son Dan recently got the part of Captain Hook in Peter Pan, which was a huge deal. He's 21 and beat out some of the well-known older guys. He sings, dances and even flies in this massive production. Last Saturday was opening night and I was so very proud of him as i watched him owning that stage, having flashbacks to the shy little boy he used to be. I also remember taking him to see Peter Pan when he was a young boy, and later finding him trying to make his younger brother Jamie fly, by putting a dog harness on him with a rope and throwing it over the cross beam of the swing set in our backyard!
Well today the review is in the paper and they gave the show FIVE STARS and said wonderful things about my kid!

Im very into musical theater although havnt been in a show in the past year cause i havnt had te time. but peterpan is a fav I would love to be in at some point!!!!!
