I notice my fingers are really swollen after a nap. Could it be the Prednisone causing this? I've only been on Pred since July 27th. After I've been up a little while, then the fingers tend to "unswell". Good grief! No, probably not. I am not on Pred and have been on very little of it over the years.
My whole body is swollen after a nap and in the morning, so it can just be the act of your body resting seems to swell one at times.
The worse my RA is in general, the worse the swelling is. At the moment, I am a puffball.
