Ow!    I don’t feel good. Just wanted to tell
someone. I have been so exhausted lately I barely
make it to work and get home. Too tired to even post
much.

And I feel like I’ve had the flu for 2 weeks...ears,
sinus, achy. Lots of swelling in my wrists and bad,
bad pain in my lower back. My lower back pain could
be the scoliosis but it’s never been this bad before. I
can hardly stand up long enough to do dishes. I
keep trying to figure out what pain/problem is due to
RA and what is due to ‘normal’ stuff...overweight,
getting older, etc. Sometimes I think the RA is all in
my mind, but I know what the RD said, and my sed
rate is 94, and I’m CCP positive. Anyone else ever
get this confused?

I go for my 4th remicade treatment friday. Hopefully
that will help? I’ve asked my RD a couple of different
times for some type of pain medication, but he just
tells me to take advil. I’m still on pred, but weaning
off-don’t want to take it anymore because of all the
side effects.

Well I’m rambling here but needed to share with
people who understand. Thanks for listening and I
hope you all have a great evening. I know you guys
are really suffering too, and I really appreciate you all.

Blessings...

TARA...SORRY YOUR FEELING SO BADLY TONIGHT.  ARE YOU ON A NSAID AS WELL FOR INFLAMMATION?  THAT WOULD HELP SOME...CALL THAT RHEUMY TOMORROW AND TELL THEM WHAT'S GOING ON.  YOU NEED SOMETHING ELSE.  HAVE YOU HAD ANY MRI'S ON YOUR BACK?  I HOPE YOUR DOCTOR GIVES YOU SOME HELP FRIDAY.

IF IT MAKES YOU FEEL ANY BETTER, I HAD TO STAY HOME FROM WORK TODAY DUE TO MY BURNING TUMMY...REALLY THINK I HAVE AN ULCER NOW.  HAD SOME PROBLEMS LAST WEEK AND SOME BLEEDING AND COULDN'T GET INTO DR TILL TOMORROW AFTERNOON.  SCARED OF SOME OF THE TESTS I MAY HAVE TO GO THRU.  ONE THING GETS HALFWAY STABLE AND SOMETHING ELSE FALLS APART.  IT'S REALLY GETTING ME DOWN TOO.

SENDING YOU SOME BIG HUGS!!!!!!

TAKE YOU A LONG RELAXING  WARM BATH AND HOPE YOU'RE FEELING BETTER TOMORROW!!

I know this isnt much help.. ut i take aleve and it seems to help!!!! i havent had any other OTC help like aleve does.

I know how you feel... i had the "flu" crap for a few weeks after i got out of school in June. I got sick, got better, and then got sick again, the last time it was asthmatic bronchitis!!!! YUK!

I want to why it is so difficult for the RD to give us pain meds. They seem to balk at giving us anything. I guarentee you if they had to go through the pain that most of us go through,They would probably be taking Oxycotin. LOL. My RD is not real quick to give me pain meds either. Then he seems to only want to give darovcet. I guess thats better than nothing! But I want to see him function with a CRP of 5.5

My doctor will give me about anything I want...then again I haven't wanted much. I did ask for something better for pain last week and he gave me Tramedol (I think that's what it's called). It helps pretty good for me.

I had been off of my meds due to infection and got stuck there for about a week without anything. I told him I just needed to have something on hand.

He knows I don't take more than I have to though so he doesn't hesitate. Hopefully once you form a good relationship with your RD you won't have any problems.

That's why it's so important to find one you like and can stick with. So they can get to know you.

Hope you're feeling better soon...I feel for ya on the back problems!! I'm sharing your pain this week I'm afraid. Muscle Relaxers for a few days usually help mine.

Sorry you are feeling so bad Tara.

I'm sorry you are feeling so  crummy:0(

Maybe your treatment friday will do the trick... I sure hope so !

Thanks you guys!  You are all so wonderful.  It’s great to have a place to come and share with others who understand.

And I love the hugs & flowers!!  Looking forward to my RD appt. tomorrow. I have lots of questions!!

Hope you all have a great evening.

(interesting…I just did a ‘preview post’ and see that my spacing comes out ‘normal’ on my pc at work.  It’s just my mac that posts weird…)
