I need someone that can draw very well, to help me draw my alice in wonderland tattoos. I have the ideas in my head, and I SUCK at drawing....I'm willing to pay.....LOL I'm so desperate to find someone who's good at art right now. *sigh*

Anyone?

Katie,

I new you couldn't wait. What have I created???

LOL It *is* your fault.

I've been wanting these tattos for a while now, and you're the first one to ask about them. Talk about stirring the bee hive. Thanks.........now I have a new obsession...........LOL

Hey,

You can't blame me I only asked a question.

OOOoooooooooOOoooOOO I want a new tat.  I guess I better wait til this RA thing is back under control tho lol.

I think I have finally settled on a design for our wedding bands.

Are we not supposed to get tats while we're flaring or something?

I don't think I can abide by that rule...........lol

naw I don't think its a rule.  I don't do mine when I am flaring because I am swollen and uncomfortable as it is.  I could have a go for you, Katie, not sure I have that much trust in my artistic ability...depends what you want.

Yes, it is one of my things but primarily I am a writer...I write fiction.

Let me know what you are wanting. My email address is on my profile or use a PM.
Hmm....

Well. It's quite a bit. I'll give you the jist of the first one, and you can let me know if it's too much (I wouldn't be surprised if it was, trust me)

The first is an open and breaking pocket watch - the red queen can be seen coming out of it, between springs and gears, her hand stretched out high, and her fingers wrapped around Alice's ankle. She's pulling Alice down, into the pocket watch with a not very nice look on her face. Alice can either be reaching up and away, grabbing at nothing, or holding onto something - maybe the Mad Hatter?
Katie,

You need a graphic artist for that. I am a fine artist. What I suggest is that you find one close by so you can work along side them.

Use your local phone book and see if you can find one in there...otherwise contact your local colleges etc and see if they have graphic art courses...maybe one of the senior students would like the work. Local art societies may also know of someone who can do it. Try those those things first is my suggestion.

Great tatt by the way. You have a good imagination and you explained it very clearly.

If I think of anything else...I will let you know, sweetie.

If you don't have a problem with stick figures, I could probably whip something up for you.  Really, I wouldn't mind at all.

And just to say it because I'm really happy about it, I got a new little tattoo on my sister trip!!!

Linncn,

You got a tattoo of what? Porcupine, Armadilo, Mongoose... I am curious if you don't mind sharing.

No, not an animal.  It's just a little flower, a daisy, and it's about the sixe of a dime in the back of my shoulder.

And I've still got that stupid quill in my finger and it's infected.  It looks like it might be getting better though.

Hi Katie:

I am a digital artist.  I'm not sure I could come up with what you're looking for though.  I draw more cartoony stuff.  You can see it at www.kittygogo.com - go to my products section and you'll see my drawings.   Sounds like you are looking for something more "true to life" looking.

I knew an amazing artist a few years ago who was also a tattoo artist.  His drawings were out of this world!  I will see if I can scare up his number or contact information.  I've not talked to him in a while - but his work is outstanding!  PM me if you like.

Take care.

Jen

That was my other, even better thought, contact tattoo places and they will know artists who can probably do it for you.

You're right, Cordelia. I agree! A lot of the tattoo artists are also artists themselves!  Some of them are just incredibly talented!  I'm sure there is someone out there who can create exactly what you want, Katie!  Good luck and let us know how it goes!  Fun fun!

Hugs,

Jen

Yeah, I think many tattoo artists do create designs for people.  You can usually see a portfolio of their work.Katie - Aren't you in Florida?? Try Miami Ink...they're AWESOME!Thats what I told her yesterday.

Yeah they want a 0 application fee............isn't that INSANE? O.o

I sort of do want a tattoo artist to draw it for me.............um....we only have 3 tattoo shops that are worth walking into and....I know a lot of the people there.......but not on the *best* terms........

Let's just say it's akward. :|

*My* tattoo artist, has run off somehwere and I haven't had contact with him in ages now. He would have done it for me and enjoyed. *sniffle*

Hi Katie, please go to www.guiascostarica.com/alicia/img.htm for some incredible AIW graphics.  I've used parts of the graphics for transfer work in jewelry making.  I love this site and I have a feeling these graphics would we wonderful as a guide for tatooing.  Let me know.  LindyOh! Those are Tenniel's drawings. :) I'm not sure what style I want Alice and the Queen to be in. Not disney...and not really Tenniel's either..........maybe something new and different?
