Today I had lots of wierd pain. Im guessing its from the JRA but its not really anything ive experienced before... maybe same pain but not in same way. today all of a sudden my thumb started to hurt like very very very bad enough for me to try and hold it perfectly still and not use it, and scream out........whenever i went to pick somthing up like my water bottle holding my hand around it my thumb would hurt very sharp and shooting like. it last about a half hour and is fine now. Then my ankles i was running after a kid at camp and the second i started to run my ankles killed i physically could not do it, i was fine walking though, its not my shoes it still hurts the same way when i try it now with diff shoes and barefoot. they dont really hurt any extra then normal when walking, i dont understand it was the most shapr scary pain out of nowhere, sort of like when you step wierd and it hurts a lot but its both ankles at the same time and only when i try to run even if its slow...the foot motion makes it hurt. I know i know dont run, lol i dont except cause i was chasing a kid...but i dont understand it its scary, ive never been able to run cause of my knee or asthma or anything but could for a sec or two, ahhh i dunno. anyone know why or had this as well? RA can cause the weirdest strangest pain in strange ways. I have had all sorts of different things over the years...like my nose hurting (for god's sake), pain that almost felt like electric shock, pain in my ears, waking up with sharp crampy pain in my legs.
Are you doing different activities than normal?
See what happens with it...if it continues on, definitely check it out.

I've been yelling about THOSE EXACT pains for years. I always get "well JRA can do that...."

Sounds like RA, all right.
downhill from there major flare time....... just went on a short walk with puppy and everyone joint in leg hurts like CRAZY....this is 2 weeks from my cortisone shot and 9 weeks of humira.....obviusly humira is NOT working!
