Hello sadness | Arthritis Information

 

Hey ya'll! I wanted to say hello cuz I'm new an all! I am a fellow RA, Fibromyalga, and Diabetic sufferer!!! Having a really bad day! I am hopin to make some new friends here. I was Diagnosed one week b4 my  birthday in '99.  I have not been able to work since 2001. I have many joints affected.  Lets just go with the worst ones LOL!!  Elbows, wrists, hands, knees, ankles and feet  I have had 4 surgeries so far and take around 22 pills/day.  I have been crying off and on for the past several hours!!!!!

Welcome to the site. I havn't been here very long myself but enjoy it every time I visit. It kind of reminds me of a ZOO. Some days it is quiet and most of the animals are lazily lying around. Then other days every Howler Monkey in the place is screaming. You can't help but laugh, smile and sometimes cry. A lot of people tend to hang out on the message boards for RA. but there are lots of places to check out.

Welcome to the site.  I have only been here a few days and look forward to it in the morning and at night when I get home.  I was diagnosed 5 yrs ago and am very lucky that I am still on NSAIDS.  My Rheumy said that he wanted to keep me off the bios as along as he could.  I am in pain most days, but just off and on since I started Diflunisal.  I have two more to try once this one fails.  I have spent many an hour crying, but now I don't do those things any more.  I am very fortunate that my PA is at a moderate stage and not agressive.  I have to change Rheumys and that is the scariest of all for me.  Please keep coming back, there will be a lot you hear here that will keep your spirits climbing up and up!  Take care and maybe think about a grateful list, it always has helped me...blessings to you...Diana - welcome aboard and a trip to the funny farm - j/k.  Lots of great posters and terrific information, and wonderful support when you need to vent.  Take care and good luck ~~ Cathy

Thanxs for your reply and for the kind welcome!  Sort of funny the day after i posted my msg I ended up in the ER!!  I was sooooo  sick!   severe nausea, fever,^BP, and I was dehydrated and very weak. And I missed 5 doses in a row of my meds.  I ended up leaving AMA!  They were severely incompetent!  I mean the friggin doctor spend like 5 minutes with me!

I am almost at the end of options as far as treatmenrs go! lets see I am currently in Orencia.  It started well But I have missed my last 2 treatments due to complicaions!But i sjould be able to have one next week!

Sorry to hear about your stay in hospital and the less then quality care.

Keep us posted and come and visit on the RA board. There are lots of people there and I do not think a large % read here.  Hopeing things get better for you soon.

 Hi Diana30Sum, have you gone or thought about going to the Mayo Clinic?  (for treatment) I hope you feel better, you are on too many drugs my friend.
