Good Rheumy Visit - Mabthera/Tramadol | Arthritis Information

Hi everyone,

I feel all out of sorts today as I have not had time to answer any posts...my usual practice is to get up in the morning look at my emails and answer any posts I can but today my routine was shot as I had to go the the rheumy.

A good visit and some serious action.

My rheumy does have a sense of humor and know I have one so he looked at me and said, "You have RA everywhere, Cordy." Good to know that your Rh. recognises what is happening for you.  It's always good having our own thoughts validated!!  Although we don't always want the news of it.

But looks like you're going to get some relief and hope all goes well for you.  Take it easy!

Joy at last!!!

Yeah, Pam...that is how I feel too. Yay!!! This has to be better than what I have been doing . Glad to hear it, "Cordy" Believe me, you guys will get the full commentary as I go through this...

Cordy,

I hope you get some relief. You have had a rough time lately.

I'll keep my fingers crossed!!!!  Hope the new stuff does wonders!!

In the states it is called Rituxan.  I have been on it for a year and I really hope it works for you.

Best of luck.

Thanks Crispy...I wish they would keep the names universal, geez, talk about confusing. I hope it works for me too. Fingers crossed...well, no actually to swollen but hey that is the basic principle .  Sounds like you have a new game plan and lets keep positive and say this IS going to work for you!!!!  Will be looking for the updates, an idea how long it will take before you can get started? Yep, well something has to work, darl. I figure this has to be the one. I am starting as soon as the rheumy can arrange it. It was putting in the application for the medication yesterday and also talking to the hospital to arrange stuff yesterday. I will have it done in the oncology department of the biggest hospital here near where I live, they have tons of experience in doing these infusions. Will let you know when I know more.
