So, they shipped my Humira today right?

Well, hubby comes in with the box. I did not even know they had delivered it, as UPS does not knock on the door, they just drop the package off and leave. It has been sitting out in the HOT weather for close to 3 hours. I know 3 hours because I changed son's diaper and put the dirty diaper out on the front porch for hubby to put in the dumpster when he got home, and I did not see a box on the porch anywhere.

So... everything in the box was melted, nothing was cold. UGH!!!!

I called the pharmacy, feel kinda bad for them, and told them everything was warm and melted. Yeah... she said they would get back with me to see if it is still salvageable. Probably not.

Anyways... stuff like this ALWAYS happens. Nothing ever goes right, and when it does go right something somewhere down the line gets a monkeywrench throwed in it. No wonder I am the glass is half empty type of person.

joonie39304.5417361111It was said somewhere on here, I belive when Roxy had a problem w/ her Enbrel that if you bring it out and the glass part still fogs up its still alright.  But yea id wait to see what the pharmacy says Oh no@ EEK!@warm Humira, thats really not good

Well, seems it is not salvagable. They are sending me another shipment either Saturday or Monday. And I have to send back the other shipment I got today when I receive the new shipment.

They are going to send it via FedEx now, UPS sucks donkey balls! UPS never knocks on the door, even if you are home, they just leave it on the porch. Now FedEx they will knock and knock and knock, and if they do not give it to you personally, they take it back with them and they call you to tell you they have your shipment. I have had one guy to delivery my humira to me at 8:30pm after he got off work. FedEx is a great company in my book.

I went thru this with my last shipment, the FedEX guy did not know I moved so he took it back and had them call the 800#. They kept it over night, and when they got it back to me the next day everthing was melted, but when I got the humira out to see if it was cold still, it did get fog on the glass, so CareMark told me it was still good.

But this time no fog. and was really warm.

I always had to sign for it, except for the times, when UPS has delivered it to me. After the first time of them just dropping it off on the in-laws porch when I first started Humira, I had CareMark change to FedEx for my delivery as they do not just drop it off and leave, they will take it back with them and call you to let you know no one was home to sign for the package. But UPS does not do that. They SUCK!

UPS are damn dirty ass walking turds!

Oh well, should not be too upset about it since, it is just going to stare me in the face, for 2-3 weeks, every time I open the fridge.

My humira comes by Fed X too. I schedule it to be on a day my hubby will be home. So far he has not forgotten and run off. But they will just leave it here in Phoenix, it is only between 105 and 115 in Aug. Plus my front porch is in the sun. Worrisome!

They are sending my replacement refill out Monday, and I will have it Tuesday. Just got off the phone with the pharmacy that is handling my Humira now.

So... here's to hoping they knock on the door or even ring the door bell monday. I think I might leave a note on the door saying I am home and ring the door bell.

Great idea.

You can call UPS and tell them that you will not accept any packages that are dropped off, that way they have to knock or bring it back.  We have a great UPS guy that will do what you wish.  Just an FYI...
