The quill is finally out!  My plan worked and it looked pretty cool. It didn't really whoosh! though.  When I squeezed it just kinda came sticking straight up, like it was growing.  Bigger than I thought it was too.  So now I am once again quillless, and all is well.

I'm so glad to hear that , Linncn.  Sorry you didn't get the whoosh though. [QUOTE=Linncn]

WOOHOO!!!!

I once got stuck bad by my hedgehog.  He was roaming about the house, and had managed to climb up onto the couch and get under a blanket and go to sleep.  Well, he's not that big, and I didn't notice him under the blanket - UNTIL I SAT DOWN ON HIM.  OMG!  At least hedgehog quills don't have barbs that stick in your skin... but I did have a nasty rash on my @ss for several days!  He was unhurt, but he did snort at me for quite a while!!!

Glad to hear it.

Did you get any pictures for Katie?

We used to have a hedgehog at work named shortcake.  He was a little cutie.  Grouchy when he woke up, otherwise a sweetie.

And no, I didn't get pictures.  All I have is my phone for a camera and and a non digital camera, so posting pics is not an option for me.  Besides, it probably has a higher grossness value in your imaginations.  You might be let down if you saw the real thing.

Well, I guess I care, as you can see I read the post and replied

Glad it came out. I done that with a splinter one time. Hubby was coming at me with a sewing needle (needles are the devil!) to get it out, and I told him NO, I will let it come out on its own. and a week later it did.

See? Sometimes the old "ignore it and it will go away" really does work!!  And thanks for caring.......

You just didn't want me to see how cool it looked coming out. You're saving all the pictures for yourself.

Hahahaha Gald it FINALLY came out! Took long enough, didn't it?

Alright.  I'll admit it. I am hoarding pics of my pussed up quill so that I will be the only one to enjoy them.  They are for sale though, if you're interested.LMAO

haha me either Linda, if it don't have to have stitches I ain't goin".

My daughter cut her finger on cat food can one time and I was making her go get stitches, we're talking a 20 year old now, and she was pale and trembling and scared to death and and I said, "what are you doing? you're hyperventilating you're gonna pass out'!! she said "I'm trying too I'm trying too"!!! LMBO, She's such a girl
