That seems to be some good stuff.

And my right side has not been spasming or even the feeling of throbbing like it was, only every once in a while it feels like that. I am not peeing that much, and I have not woke up 3-5 times thru the night to go pee, just once when I woke up to get daughter off to school. So, I guess I do have IC. Nice to know.

The drs gave me amitriptylin, 10 mg, so I could sleep through the pain I was having at night.  I was having sciatic pain down my left side recently and have been struggling from it for about 2 yrs now, as it was moving from one side to the other during that time.  I found out that I have a degenerative disc in my lower back which may be causing it.  The amitrip did help me to sleep through the pain.  What a relief it has made in my life.  Since the dr has put me on Requip, I haven't had to take it.  I still have the pain from time to time, but I am not quite so groggy anymore from the muscle relaxers, pain pills and the amitrip.  It is too hard and frustrating for me to take the amitrip at 6pm every night.  I was forgetting too much.  Now, I am enjoying a clearer head with the requip.  If the requip wasn't doing so well, I would still be on it and I have the security that if I need to take the amitrip, I can at anytime, I just have to take it early enough.  I like to sleep too, it makes so much different in "who I am"!  My kids like it when I sleep too...maybe I get too grouchy??  Sweet dreams...

I'm so glad it's working well for you!

I'm glad that this medicine is giving you some relief.  It's nice to have enough energy to feel like doing something.

Joonie,

I'm glad you decided to try it and that it is helping so much. Laker

It'll be fun to see what Joonie's like when she's ACTUALLY had sleep!!!!!

Well, you will not find out today, Katie

Thanks everyone for the words. I hope it does help me out,it seems it is though, so I am going to take it until the very end
