Hi, I am new to the board, but not to ra. I moved to the N.J. from WA. state
6 yrs ago and somehow aquired ra. I noticed when I go back to Wa. that my
symptoms subside for the most part, but when I return to N.J they re-appear
instantly. Does anyone else experience this? Thanks SuzanneI haven't been back and forth like that, so I can't say.  I just wanted to say hello and welcome to the board.

I have definite changes depending on the weather.  It has to do with barometer changes.  This could be what your experiencing.  I'm much better here in the desert of the southwest (non monsoon season) than most other places.  When we go to our place in Mexico it's humid and hot but the barometer is stable so I don't see much difference in symptoms.  Lindy

Hello and welcome,

If you have questions someone here will have answers.

I have not had your experiences when traveling. But as you have seen or will see everyone is different.

Hi Suzanne - I also experience changes in pain and inflammation depending on the weather, but have never had the experience of moving from one state to another. Probably not much help with your question, but just wanted to say hi and welcome!Gale, love those little pokey figures. They make me smileThe weather seems to get me - when it's rainy or stormy outside, I have more pain.  I travel a fair amount for work; I've noticed that I feel worse when I go to Seattle.  Allergies, feet, mood - you name it.  When I get to Seattle, I want to reach out and punch someone.  I was in Florida a couple of times last year - I felt pretty good when I was there as well, even though I was on my feet 12 hrs a day installing computer equipment!

Interesting Maggie, I moved from FL to WA state and I developed symptoms and was dx'd here...

Yeah, I just live in WA state (the dry side) and developed it here.

 Hi and welcome Maggie
