How is everyone’s weekend so far? | Arthritis Information

Mine has been ok. I mean no humira for 2 weeks now, am really starting to notice it too. It SUCKS!!

Instead of sitting at home and sweating and running up our electric bill, we went with the in-laws to go hunt down an iPOD and to just galavant about the state

At one Wal-Mart they had an X-Box setup with chairs and all, I sat there playing it until halftime, after I realized they all walked off and left me

My knee hurts, but I think that is from all the jerking my legs were doing while I was sleeping last night. My legs kept waking me up with a hard jerk and then my leg would twitch. I thought this problem had went away, but I guess not.

My shoulder blades are burning, fingers are on the swell, knees hurt and swelled, and I am tired. I am going to go take my antibiotic, amii, and pred... and hope I fall to sleep and feel better tomorrow.

I will take this pain, and problems from today over not sweating in 100 degree weather. I HATE to sweat, and I did have A/C all day, except for the walks from the truck to the stores

I worked.

Need I say more?

Hey joonie! Glad you were able to keep cool today, but being out from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm sounds totally EXHAUSTING! How's that bladder infection coming along? Will you be able to start back up on the Humira soon?

Wow.  Joonie you are a good sport.  All that with your shoulders and your legs at night and no humera, and still you say it was an ok weekend.  That's cool.

Mine was ok.  Worked.  Was supposed to go out with my sis last night and it fell though.  Had plans with my husband for dinner with firends tonight but that fell though.  Still, it was good weather and nice days and nothing bad happened.  Shoulder and knees were aching, especially my shoulder, and I fianlly took a vicodin. Haven't done that in a while.

I have 8 more days of the antibiotic, and then that will fall in the middle of the week, so it will total almost a month without Humira when I get to take it again.

It was not that exhausting, because I did not try to keep up with all those fast walkers, Ok they do not walk a fast pace, but they do walk faster than me... even my 2 year old walks faster than me. And my morning stiffness did not ease up until around 2pm. And I would gel while we were going from store to store. Like I said better that than to sweat.

Linncn, sorry to hear you had to give in to the vicodin, I probably would have gave into them too, if I had some. At least nothing bad happened today.

Ew that's true....

I'm just REALLY bored and I have another hour and 20 minutes. *sigh*

Aww... go make us some pretty MS Paint pics again. We all miss those Yep, sure did sound like a perfect summer day for ya! Glad it has been a good one!

I read most of the day, took a long nap, hubby made dinner(KFC) haha, and I talked to my family via phone, so really a lazy day for me.

It's too hot to be outside for me(Hickory,N.C.) after it gets to 100f with 90% humidity i quit lookin too. We will have to take out a second mortgage to pay the electric bill this month

Read, sorted through some fall clothes and started a bag for Goodwill.  Not a very exciting summer day.  I would have rather been on the Columbia River with MaryB.  Sounds like fun.

Decent so far - the boys and I went shopping for school supplies today.  My older one talked me into a Monopoly game for the computer (his life's ambition is to be CEO of something) and the younger one got a JumpStart 2nd Grade game (his choice, not mine!).  We got paints, folders, glue, pencils, Gummi Bears (oops they weren't on the list!!!), paper, notebooks... all in all, it was over 200 dollars!!!  Then I continued last week's lesson on how to operate the lawn mower with our older boy.  It's a self-propelled mower, and he's having a hard time figuring it out.  Either he won't push down at all, so he ends up doing all the work, or he pushes down too much, and he and I are practically chasing the mower across the yard!  I'm also teaching the younger one the difference between weeds and keepers.  Problem is, he wants them all to live. Jasmine, I can't believe how much school supplies cost.  It's not so bad now that I only have one at home, but geez...it used to cost a small fortune.  Your story about your son and the weeds reminded me of being super mad at my dad when I was a littl kid when he killed all the dandelions in our yard.  I used to like to make bouquets for my mom!!

Hello everybody,

Mine has been fine so far.  Friday night I did nothing except read after Isabel went to sleep.  I'm reading Montana Sky by Nora Roberts.  It's a good book.  Saturday, I cleaned Isabel's room which is really useless because as I'm cleaning she's finding toys that she wants to play with.

Glad to hear everyone is having a good weekend.  Joonie, sorry that you're not feeling too super.  Hope you can take it easy today.

my weekend has been good so far.  We had to watch my brother (hes 7) on Friday and decided we would attempt grocery shopping and going to Walmart to get Kelsays school supplies.  It was an adventure none the less
