Dizzi Me | Arthritis Information

 

I took my Enbrel Friday p.m and followed up with my MTX Saturday morning.  Late Saturday night I began to get dizzy.  If I lay down quikly or or stand up quickly or just lie down, my heads spins everywhere.  Its very unwelcomed.  I've heard about "MS Symptoms" associated with Enbrel and  I know they're rare and usually disappear after cancelling Enbrel. 

Does anyone get thes strange dizzy spells?

justoday39306.0488078704Have you checked your Blood pressure lately.  A sudden decrease in BP will do that.  Just give yourself time to adjust.  Sit and dangle your legs for a few minutes.  Take your time and lay down in stages.  There are a number of things that will cause dizziness.  How long have you been on Embel and MTX?  I take both the MTX and the Enbrel and I haven't had any side effects.  I guess it's a call to the RD tomorrow for you.  Hope it works itself out.Could be an ear infection too.  Enbrel and MTX can leave you more susceptible to infection. Have you had a cold lately?  Allergies acting up?  I've had ear infections where the main symptom was just dizziness.  Very annoying!!! Hi, could you spread them out a few days? that is a lot of meds all at once. I have Remicade on Mondays, and take the mtx thurs or friday. May help a little, sounds scary to be dizzy like that. Lynda
