OT - Oh My God! The weather!!! | Arthritis Information

It's almost PITCH BLACK OUTSIDE!!! It's about to storm like nothing I've seen in years.......and it's still 88 degrees out, but the wind is COLD.............they haven't said anything about tornados yet, and I want to go smack somebody because NOW is when they need to be warning people that this is the *perfect* weather for them.

The wind is HOWLING like mad and it's raining sideways....

Just thought I'd share! We don't get stuff like this very often!

Katie, are you at work or home? I hope you don't have to go out in it!

Take care, Sweetie, and let us know how it goes.

Hugs,

Nini

I'm at work. We're enjoying it kinda! LoL These people were riding by on SCOOTERS when the rain started. So we let them park them under the awning, and gave them a coupon for the resturaunt. They're in the back eating and watching TV waiting till it stops. LOL

We have a generator that powers the entire building if we need it, and we got flashlights together just in case. Hehehe

you're kidding me! We had sinister black clouds hanging around this evening in SE UK, I know we get your old weather but that is fast! Bladdy typical for the weather to take a turn just in time for my hols. Rain follows us

I hate those summer storms in Florida.  They come up of nowhere sometimes and I hate tornadoes.  Although I've never been or seen one myself, a family friend has his whole house wiped out by some that went through I think last year.  Stay safe!

The sun is DESPERATELY trying to peek through the clouds, but the wind hasn't given up. It keeps getting dark, light, dark, light...etc etc But for the most part it's died down. Yay. At least it consumed some time.......its SO SLOW today!! >.< And I'm here till 9 tonight.........*sigh*

Oh Katie, take care.  Spent the night in the bathtub in a motel in New Mexico because of tornado warnings.  Same dark sky, wind howling, it would go from dark to this weird shade of yellowish green sky and rained really hard.  Fortunately, no tornado touched down but it was a scary night for me.  You're probably in a safer spot now than if you were home, just be careful driving home.  Lindy

Yeah I think it was just a quick blip of maddness.......It's REALLY slow here tonight, and I'm in a writing mood....with the weather the way it is I'm going to continue working on my short story about hurricane Ivan........I've already got most of it.......it's really too long to post as one blog, so I think I'm going to go through it today and split it up. It'll probably get posted in several bits. Anyone interested?Hi, we used to have the most amazing thunder/lightening storms in Reno, Nevada. The lightening, would light up the whole sky. The rain would come and it was hot/windy out. Exciting. (but it started wildfires, sometimes, ugh)Lynda
