moving pain | Arthritis Information

Does anybody experience moving pain due to RA? It seems alot of people have localized pain. It is totally weird that a knee and toes are terrible one day, then the next day the knee and toes aren't as intense, but a right thumb and left finger are terrible. It seems the pain is just rolling around to different parts of the body. Has anybody ever felt RA in the shoulder blade? Felt it last week and thought that was strange.

Michael, I have a few places that never stop hurting and other pain that seems transient. The floating pain tends to be in the back, knees and flexor areas of the hands and feet.

Michael, I get moving pain all the time.  My shoulder blades are sometimes what hurts the worst.

Good morning Michael,

you and my son share the same name...

I never have the same pain all the time.  Mine likes to visit other areas of my body.  You know, it would be to boring to stay in the same place, all the time...LOL.  Right now the pain is in the back of my knees, which is very unusual for me to have pain there.   Guess it's telling me..."there will be no lawn mowing today".

Have a good weekend and hope it's a pain free one for you.

Michael,  That is the most dumbfounding aspect of ra for me.  Before I was diagnosed I thought it had to mean I had some horrible terminal disease or something because it was like my entire body must be sick!  The first few months of ra all of my symptoms were in my upper body.  Shoulders especially and my neck.  Now it is almost always in my hips and knees.  Then sometimes right before a flare I get these "tiny signs'.  Like a wierd finger or middle toe!  That is why it is so hard to understand or for other people to relate to.  Thank God we have this site!!!!!

Pain hopping from joint to joint -- just to keep us wondering, I suppose.  One day, my knees will hurt intensely, the next day it might be my shoulders -- and so it goes.  I seem to always keep it in my hands and feet, but the other joints will hop, skip and jump around.

yep, me too always moving.  Hands always hurt now
