does anyone else have this? i wonder if i am getting arth.in my chest as well. it not only my chest its my whole rib cage,as the day goes on it seem to go away. i have Psoriatic arthritis.

Look up costochondritis, its an inflammation in the chest area. I have it and it is very painful. Yes, I have the stiff chest every morning. I don't think it's unusual but it can be really annoying and if it turns painful then downright aggravating. I've had several episodes of costochrondritis and it is painful. LindyI had costo pretty bad last yr, and i thought my heart was going bad b/c it hurt all day pretty much. The first time i had it, i thought the same thing, and that was in 2000. I had chest xrays and blood drawn on both occasions, all came back ok, so i just assumed it was costo. It lasted a couple months. I seem to be sore for a week if my son plops back his big head on my chest lol.
Hope you get some relief soon. Motrin, naproxen is all they'll give you.
I get that as well. Hurts. It has been bad for me the last couple days as well...My chest hurts in the am if I sleep on my side. When I was flaring so badly in the winter, my collar bones ached. Who ever know you could hurt there?I hate when that happens!!! Thought I was having a heart attack one time. Doctor said it was costochondritis - it went away in a few months. Very annoying!
