Thank you all for your ideas - some I've already tried and some are new to me and I WILL Try. RA drs around here - there is really only one - take a year to get into for the first appt. Mine came for the country living and hunting. Went to a foot specialist today - scared me to death
Hearing the doctor say she wanted to take joints out of my feet would scare me to death too. I'm glad your current medication is working for you. Welcome.
Take the joints OUT???? They do that? Wow. I think I'd get a second opinion.
You could probably rinse them off and make some unique jewlery out of them, though.
Lauren welcome. I am so sorry that you had to change meds. Did the DR want to replace joints or just remove them. There is no way unless she can make a prosthesis of your foot that you can go through life without all those tiny little bones. You have a right to be scared out of your mind. Try searching on the internet for answers and change feet dr's I would worry a lot if someone had told me that. Wow...that's freaky. Where do you live?Sorry, but I still believe it is RA because I have had it a lot and it was baaaddd stuff. Barely being able to walk and being in that much pain is not normal.
