Hi All,Can any one help???
My sister in the Uk has RA and her right leg has really swollen up and is hard the colour is a red/bluey/purple.
She has been to the Hospital for a scan and she asked the Nurse what could it be and she replied she is not allowed to say .
She is really,really worried as she is bringing up her 2 year old Grandson.
Has anyone else sufferd with this?????

Someone should be able to SAY. I would keep asking until I found out.
I know I think it is disgusting as she is thinking the worse and I cannot do anything as I am here in the States and she is in the Uk.
Still, you need to find out what is causing it. She needs to call and call until she gets somebody who IS allowed to say what it is.

Yikes! Could be a blood clot, cellulitis, many things! Those people need to get her some answers! Didn't a doctor see her to tell her what it was? Poor thing. She must be beside herself. As well as you being so far away from her. I would have her take others advice here and call until someone tells her what it is.Thank you so much for all your replies.
