So.....

Brooke called me today. She said she HAD to make a decision about who she was going to hire to replace Jennifer TODAY.

She interviewed me, and I was TOTALLY honest with her, about the stress and the hours, and about how if something happens to his mom, I'm GONE for a while. She was *really* understanding and she said she didn't want to leave me out of the process, because she thought I would really enjoy it.

Some of the things Perri told me about it being so stressful were wrong, in fact Perri didn't even know the whole job description!

Now I have no idea what to think. :|

So I find out tomorrow.....
Hmmmm.  Whatcha gonna do if they offer it to you?

Do you think you want it if they can be flexible enough to accomodate your needs? You sounded so excited about it before. I hope things go the way you would like them to.

Good Luck!

Hugs, Nini

Good Luck?

Trust your gut instinct.

Yeah, I was totally honest with her - if his mom goes I'm outa here, no questions. She said ABSOLUTELY. I said I will *not* come in at 8am cause we only have one car. She said that's probably flexible, *she* didn't care what time I come in, it's just that 10% of the job would be accounting and there's one report that has to be filed and submitted by 11am every day. But there were and are LOTS of days where Jennifer doesn't come in until 9am. So I dunno.

If they're nice to me, I'll take it. I can always go back to the front desk, James is going to *hate* to lose me, and I know it.

No lies though, my stomach.......it's in knots.
Katie - Did you talk to Brooke about going back to school, and is she willing to work with you on it??That, I did not mention.

However, she mentioned to me that she has met so many people through sales contracts that it's a great way to branch out. As in, take another job offer! She was SO honest about it. She said she currently loves what she's doing but she knows a lot of people who started in sales like this, and found other jobs they liked more. And she wanted me to know that it was perfectly normal and a great opportunity. It's like she was asking me to be interested. LoL
So do you have to let her know by tomorrow? No I told her I was interested only if they weren't going to pressure the hell outa me right away, because I'm not interested in being a whipping boy. And she said no way, they don't want to do that to anyone. The only big thing she had to make for sure of was if I could come in later than 8am. She has other people she has to consider for the job too, but at least I'm in the running.

She said I'll know for sure who she picked tomorrow.
