I was wondering if more then one person in your family has As. My son was diagnoised with AS when he was 16 Now 18 Is doing fine on his Enbrel. Now My 9 Year old daughter has been having back pain in the lower spine. They did a blood test and is Positive for the HLA b27 Gene. Took to to a RA and He said that he could not say 100% yes But Is Very probable that she would.. right now she has Back pain in the Lower Spine and The back of here Knees and Feet.

ya my mom has AS and is mildly sore on some days but mostly gets irities. I have AS but am very very sore in the right and left hips, lower back, and sometimes my left heal, but do not get irities. At my house right now its 3:45a.m and have been so sore for the past 5 days that i havent had any sleep in 2 days, going on 3. I am so tried i can barely keep my eyes open but have to keep moving or i become so sore i almost passout under the pain when i try to move again, last night i never new that my body could have so much pain, it was offically the worst pain i have ever felt in my life and i have had a drill through my foot. The bad part is that i am at my cuzins house in B.C. and i am without my mom and am unable to recieve my remicade till thurday. I feel kinda alone right now because no one but my mom really understands how i feel, they all think its like when you have a sore back, but my they have no clue. Sorry about the life story but i kinda feel i have some people to talk to now, since no one here understands.
