To each his/her own -- I'm not a hater but for me I keep the Drama out and far, far, far away from me if it's not beneficial to me or the other person -- I just don't have time.  Stress is a killer and it only exacerbates any inflammation or condition in our bodies.  I have found that many people with Lupus, MS, Diabetes, Arthritis and other diseases but mostly those are sometimes always angry, bitter and very difficult to get along with.... If you can't say anything good -don't say it at all.  I found a Jewish proverb that says "A little honey in the mouth, won't help if your bitter at heart."  No one can teach a child to love if you don't know how....    I can speak on this because I am in pain everyday from something -- but for people who are not I definitely don't want to run them away with my bitterness -- the times I don't feel well -- I let people know and I do something beneficial for myself.  I cannot imagine having children and being in this condition -- because relationships can have it's toll on people not sick.  Think on this please...  Oh and do not forget that pain meds & pred make people act funky too. Yeah, my behaviour sucks at times, but I always warn hubby and my boys that I think I am in one of those moods!!!!  I always apologise too if I get snappy with the kids, bless them they are so understanding, 7 and 10 y.o.  so I know where you are coming from!  Hugs Janie. I have a 2 year old daughter.  First thing in the morning is hardest for me so I get her breakfast and turn on Mickey Mouse Club for her.  Have myself a cup of coffee and some meds.  I call this "Mommy's cranky time".
