OT: The never ending post | Arthritis Information

I was thinking since I make so many different off topic posts, that is why I have started doing polls, to make it seem like I am contributing some information, that I will just post all my off topic stuff to one post and just bump it back to the top. I mean some days, I might get lazy and not want to go hunting down my never ending post, but those are the breaks.

So... this will now be my new OT: post and will be never ending. (I hope)

See ya on the flip side! I learned this in Kindergarten:  Hold out both of your hands, back side up, index finger straight, thumb at a right angle to your index finger.  Your left hand will be in the shape of an "L", the right hand will not.

I remember my right from my left by saying I write with my right. Which I do.

Oh... I have a permit only, and got that when I was 26. I drive every now and then, but it kills me to drive. Yeah, when I renew my permit the second time, it will be on daughters 15th b-day and then she will be applying for her learners permit that day as well. I got my permit on her 7th birthday. She was proud of me

I am in a foul mood today. I think it is because I did not get enough sleep. It was hot in the bedroom last night. I could not sleep and when I did finally fall asleep son woke me up. He has been doing that a lot lately.

Both andswers about the left and right really coooool. I too have not been in such a good mood, like you down to being awoken in pain at 4.00am... today is my cleaning day and I came home from work to find hubby had done it for me.... all I needed to do was mop the floor... made me cry.... tiredness and the fact hands hurt a lot. Its great knowing you can drive if you need to. I've got a little sports car (have had her for 10 years), and she is going to have to go soon, changing gear and steering is sometimes beyond the pale (its a heavy little car). My son 17 1/2 passed his driving test in Jun, its amazing when your kids start driving but great too... payback time means that William (Will for short), gets to drive us out when we go into town... talk about changed days.

Joonie, you're a BISCUIT, don't you remember last nights posts about biscuits and gravy?

*sings*  This is the song that doesnt end it just goes on and on my friend.  Some people started sing with not knowing what it was and the'll continue singing it forever just because this is the song that doesnt end.............

Yeah, I am not fat I am just fluffy, fluffy like a nice homemade, not can, biscuit.

Ok now I want sausage biscuits and gravy. wonder if Hardee's still serves that at 4pm? Probably not. To bad sonic does not have SBG, they serve breakfast all day long.

I settled for ramen noodles.

Oh hubby is home, I am probably going to hear some lip from him because I have not had a shower and ready to go to town. Hey I was eating... and posting.... ok mostly posting. But he does not have to know that.

Actually, they're very good.  The gravy is very flavorful from the sausage and spices and the biscuits if made properly are big, fluffy, and wonderful.  I wish I could make it and share with all my friends in the U.K. and Australia and Ireland.

I'm having deja vu........we did this on the forum last night.  Lindy

Hahahhaaaa!!! It is REALLY lucky it is a new knife and about the only good knife we have. The knife better watch its back, because one day I might chunk it outside.

Joonie, put the knife down.

I agree, there's an awful lot of fat in biscuits and gravy.  And though my ancestors used to eat it every day, I would never do that, because of health concerns.  But the quality of my life here is more important to me than the length of it, I must admit.  And there are some unhealthy foods that do dramatically increase the quality of my life.  So I enjoy them in moderation.  And when I say enjoy them, I ENJOY them!  LOL

Sorry to keep it going, missed out on it the first time!!  Not another word on Bicuits and gravy.I was joking Linncn!  -   Don't worry about it.  I love talking biscuits and gravy!I don't much care for biscuits and gravy

Oh for the love of god. Gravy again? >.<

Joonie, can I use this post too? Since apparently no one gives a sh*t about when I have issues, they just want me to stay away and never post anything unless I'm being helpful.

God forbid that someone who's typically okay and comes here anyway, simply to support other people should *ever* have issues of her own to talk about. God FOR-BID.

People don't think that.  Only one. So that's just "person"

Mmmmm subway.......

MMMMMMM GREASE.........Go grease lightnin'

Sure Katie, have at it. I do not mind.

Hey!? Did ya'll see that I made a post in the JRA board? Yeah... it was cold and dark and creepy in there, so I left.

Ok... I must admit I do not eat SBG very much. I think I have eaten it once so far this year.

I sure do miss each country fried steaks w/pepper gravy. YUMMY!! But it is fatten and no one else but me will eat it, so I do not buy it.

Thanks Juniper. YAY to chinese food.....
Hill and Jasmine...I agree about moderation for most things, but I admit I have a hang up about some things and I just can't eat them.  Sausage, bacon, alfredo, fast food (except Subway), anythng cooked in grease or butter......nope.  Maybe that's what kind of Nazi I am!!!    WHOA!  I just rmemebered my enbrel and MTX!  How could I have forgotten that?
I just went through a bit of a bacon fest - 3 days this week I had a bacon-egg-cheese biscuit from McDeath for breakfast.  I never eat that stuff!  Don't know what got into me... but I tell you, I HAD to have that biscuit!  Probably because we haven't had bacon-n-eggs for dinner in about 6 months (since I almost burnt down the house with flaming bacon grease!!!).  I think it's out of my system now... but for those few days, if I didn't stop at McD's on my way to work, I sat at my desk and thought about it until I could stand it no more, and had to drive down the street and get one.  Go figure!

yeah, I go thru phases of things I crave. Like one time I had to have BIG Macs for every meal for a couple of days. It was only because of the special sauce. Yeah, I know... do not even mention what might be in that special sauce... hubby reminds me every time I eat one.

I worked at a DQ - we used to take hits off the nitrous tank (used for the whipped cream) after we closed.  I know, dumb idea.  It's a wonder many of us survive our teenage years and live to adulthood!!!
lmao but all the crap you do just makes for GREAT stories when you're older!!!!I knew there was a reason I have NEVER felt compelled to eat from DQ. I have lived out here for 15 years and have NEVER eaten from DQ.

It must be going to rain very soon. My right hip has been having a stabbing, nagging pain in it most of the day, even while I was trying to sleep. Most of my joints are swelled and hard to move due to the swelling, and most are hurting.

I noticed last night, that my hands and feet were hot. My knuckles were pinkish/red looking and I could not move my fingers well. I guess my toes, feet, hands & fingers were swelling. But the pred helped to knock that out with in a few hours.

I am going to go take my Amitriptylin and go lay down. I might be back, but probably not.

Feel free to use this thread.
Sorry, your description still doesnt do it for me..... I suppose you're right the proof is in the eating!***

Joonie, put the knife down.

Oh, you guys are making me laugh sooo hard! Joonnie, et al, what you forgot to explain to poor Sarah is that a biscuit in America is not a COOKIE, like it is in UK!!! A biscuit here is like a thick, round bread. Now gravy on cookies? That would be quite disgusting! And it made me laugh-- just the thought of what Sarah was imagining.

~Karin

Hm. Gravy Cookies. I wonder if Nabisco would ever pick up on that......hahahaha
