Ok.... for those of you who have hair and have been on Sulfa.... whats the deal with the breakage/loss?

Are we talking at root level or what.... does this include all hair? I could definitely do with less on my lip and chin

The above is a serious question, what I want to hear is there isnt any

My hair does that and I am not even on sulfa. Mine is probably from the pred. Durn stoopid pred. I miss my hair. Oh GOD.... how much hair are you missin?

I do unfortunately have chocolate and have just eaten (I cant believe I'm going to admit this), but 6 leisurely chocolates with my cuppa. and there's no-one else in the house to blame. Milo my birman doesnt eat chocolate!

Enjoy your outing.wills, I think autoimmune disease by itself, can cause hair loss. I started
thinning really bad several years before starting plaq and I'm still losing.
You can see my scalp in different areas which bugs me. I know some have
mentioned that folic acid may help with this. Wish I had a miracle cure for
this one.I start my drugs next week and am looking forward to being sick for 3 to 4 weeks (literally) and then I read about hair loss.... puuuuulease, enough already

My iron levels are supa dupa. I do have long hair, its not thick but there's lots of it (according to my hairdresser there's a difference!) When I malt (just like my cat), it thins out terribly and I'm hoping that's not going to happen when I start my drugs next week.

Like you say we're all different. I might get curly hair instead of loosing it [QUOTE=wills08]
